Melmerby Play and Pre-School is a registered charity and is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. It is run by a Committee, elected at the AGM in the Autumn Term. All Parents are eligible to stand for Committee posts and to attend the AGM. Please remember that without a Committee the Playgroup cannot operate. The Committee is responsible for Playgroup finances, equipment, staffing and the upholding of policies. We hold regular fund-raising events and ask that all our Parents try to support these as far as possible.

 
We produce a newsletter each term to keep everyone informed of what is happening and to report on social and fundraising events. Any skills that Parents/Carers may have that may be of interest to the children are always welcome. Also parents are always welcome to help at Playgroup.
